To keep your Merta Clothing pieces looking their best, please follow the care instructions below.

General Care Instructions

  • Wash inside out
  • Wash with similar colours
  • Use a gentle cycle
  • Do not overload the washing machine
  • Follow the care label inside each garment

Washing

  • Machine wash cold (30°C max)
  • Use mild detergent
  • Do not bleach
  • Avoid fabric softeners

Drying

  • Do not tumble dry
  • Lay flat or hang to air dry
  • Keep away from direct heat or sunlight

Ironing

  • Iron on low heat
  • Do not iron directly on prints or logos
  • Turn garment inside out before ironing

Special Fabrics

  • Hoodies & printed items: Avoid high heat to prevent cracking or peeling
  • Delicate items: Hand wash recommended
  • Denim & dyed fabrics: May bleed on first wash – wash separately

Storage

  • Store in a cool, dry place
  • Fold heavier items to prevent stretching
  • Avoid hanging knitwear

  • Failure to follow care instructions may result in shrinkage, fading, or damage
